Receiver rating: 2.5″ receiver is rated 24,000 lb towing / 1,800 lb tongue weight.
Safety depends on:

- Your specific truck’s factory ratings
Older beds with 2″ receivers are not rated for 24,000 lb.
To pull at max capacity: Reinforce the hitch to the truck frame. Use flat or structural steel braces at ~45°. Weld into the upright holes or directly to the frame for best results. This step preserves vehicle integrity and keeps your towing setup strong under pressure.
