Bradford Built Steel 4-Box Utility Bed

The Bradford Built Steel 4-Box Utility Bed is engineered for the toughest jobs and harshest environments. It consistently delivers exceptional strength, organized storage, and heavy hauling power. Built from high-grade steel, this bed is perfect for professionals who need a rugged, reliable work platform that won’t quit.

Key Features

Formed Headache Rack

This bed comes with Bradford Built’s signature formed headache rack. It provides maximum cab protection. Additionally, integrated stop, reverse, and side marker lights are included. It’s built for safety and all-day utility in any condition.

Insert Toolboxes

Four heavy-duty underbody toolboxes are provided—two on each side. These keep your tools secure and well-organized. Moreover, the insert boxes maximize bed surface while offering protected storage.

Flush Mount Tie Downs

Four flush-mounted tie-down rings are built into the deck. These provide flexible, secure cargo anchor points. Whether hauling materials or equipment, your load stays secure. As a result, you can haul with confidence.

Fold-Down Sides

Steel fold-down side rails offer extra versatility. They make side loading easier with a forklift or by hand. When upright, they contain cargo securely. When folded down, they create a flat, open surface. Consequently, loading and unloading become faster and safer.

All-Steel Construction

The bed is crafted entirely from steel for maximum durability. It resists daily wear and high-impact use. Furthermore, it’s made to survive tough work and rough environments, even under heavy stress.

Hitch Specifications

  • Gooseneck Hitch: 30,000 lb. capacity with recessed gooseneck ball

  • Receiver Hitch: 2.5″ receiver tube rated at 24,000 lb. towing capacity

Important Safety Information for 24K Receiver Hitch

Towing heavy loads increases driving responsibility. Although the 2.5″ receiver hitch can handle 24,000 lbs., load distribution and trailer balance must always be carefully checked. Additionally, heavier trailers increase risk and demand skilled driving. Always ensure proper loading and experienced handling when towing at full capacity.
Older 2″ hitches are not rated for this weight and should never be used for loads of this size.

Strut the Rear Hitch

In order to safely tow at 24K capacity, the rear hitch must be strutted to the truck’s frame. Flat or structural steel should be used at about a 45° angle. Conveniently, pre-cut holes in the upright tubes are available for quick installation. Alternatively, you may weld directly to the bumper if preferred.
This extra bracing is essential for safety and long-term durability. Therefore, it should never be skipped.
